Taming.io

Taming.io is a top-down multiplayer survival game where animal companions are part of your fighting power. Gather supplies, develop equipment and a base, then command pets while dealing with rival tamers and wild creatures.

Food restores health, wood and stone supply buildings, and gold supports equipment purchases and your score. Gathering and combat fill the age bar, unlocking more items as you survive.

To recruit an animal, approach a sleeping baby and use the paw button. Taming is not guaranteed. Pets gain levels through fighting and have magical strengths, weaknesses and special abilities.

Use defend, attack, stop and movement commands to choose how your pets behave. Gold-bought hats and wings can provide useful effects, so equipment choices are not always purely cosmetic.

Use the pet buttons to select behavior and activate skills. Controls can be changed in Settings; touch devices use the on-screen interface.

• Keep healing food in reserve. Spending every resource on construction leaves less room to recover after a fight.
• Do not confuse taming failure with a broken button. Sleeping babies have a chance of joining you, not a guaranteed outcome.
• Command pets deliberately. Stop or defend can keep a companion from chasing a target that pulls it away from you.
• Read magical matchups. A stronger-looking pet can still be disadvantaged by its opponent's type.
